The Art Institute of Chicago

Saturday. November 26. 2022

Visiting The Art Institute of Chicago was the highlight of my Adventure Chicago itinerary since it is a very famous museum with a long history, and it is one of the biggest museums in the world. I felt really happy about getting to see it in real life, and I got even more excited when I saw the outside of the building, which had beautiful statues of lions that looked like they were protecting it.

Had breakfast with a stunning view of downtown Chicago

When I went inside the museum, I was surprised by how big it was. It was much larger than what I had anticipated. The museum had many collections on multiple floors and areas, each with beautiful artworks. It was an absolute delight to explore each section and admire the unique beauty of each piece.

Although I was tired from walking in the museum for hours, I felt sad as it was closing. I wanted to stay longer and spend more time enjoying the art. But, I promised to come back and explore the museum more completely in the future, maybe even spending a full day to appreciate all the treasures it has.

Sweet gelato with a macaron from “Amorino”, nearby the museum :)
