"Power in Numbers" is an exciting yearly event hosted by Gallery Nucleus. What makes this show truly special is the way it showcases traditional artwork created with various materials, not digital prints, all in a neat 5 x 7 postcard format. The event brings together a multitude of artists, making it a fantastic opportunity for both artists and viewers to appreciate the diverse range of artwork.
This year, I had the pleasure of participating in "Power in Numbers 8." My contribution was a miniature version of my artwork series titled "Hide and Seek." To celebrate this event, Steven and I decided to attend the reception at Gallery Nucleus on a Saturday evening. The exhibition was situated on the second floor of the gallery, and as soon as I walked in, I was captivated by the exceptional artworks on display.
The atmosphere at the exhibition was cozy and welcoming, like stepping into a friendly room. There were countless small artworks decorating the walls, each one a little treasure. I found myself naturally pulled towards every piece, taking in the special touch of every artist. It was like seeing a rainbow of styles, each one different from the next.
What really intrigued me was how each artist told their own story through their art. Some used bright colors to convey joy, while others used darker shades to express deeper emotions. It was like a window into their hearts and minds, all on display for everyone to see.
Being a part of this show and getting to see all this amazing art was like being handed a gift. It's not every day you get to be surrounded by so much creativity. It's something that will stick with me for a long time, a memory I'll cherish. The chance to be a part of this event and soak in the talent of all these artists was truly something special.
